Job Description

Programs & Operations Manager

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Programs & Operations Manager in the United States.

This role sits at the center of a mission-driven nonprofit building global programs focused on financial inclusion and Bitcoin-enabled impact. You will own the end-to-end execution of high-impact initiatives spanning grants, circular economy programs, and ecosystem partnerships across multiple regions. Acting as the operational backbone of the foundation, you will design and refine systems, manage budgets, and ensure governance rigor while enabling scale. The position requires strong ownership, combining program leadership, financial stewardship, and stakeholder coordination. You will work closely with executive leadership and external partners to translate strategy into measurable outcomes. This is a highly autonomous role for someone who thrives in ambiguity and builds structure where none exists.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead full program execution across the organization’s global portfolio, managing the lifecycle of grants, partnerships, and initiatives from intake through reporting and close-out, ensuring alignment with mission objectives and measurable impact outcomes.
  • Oversee relationships with NGO partners and ecosystem stakeholders across multiple regions, ensuring strong communication, accountability, and effective collaboration throughout program delivery.
  • Define KPIs and build reporting frameworks to track impact across programs such as grants, education initiatives, circular economy efforts, and technical support workstreams.
  • Own budgeting and financial oversight for programs, including expense tracking, variance analysis, reporting preparation, and coordination with finance leadership for board-level reporting.
  • Manage compliance, governance, and operational workflows, ensuring grant agreements, contracts, and internal processes meet nonprofit and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and improve operational systems and tools that enable scalable program execution, including workflow design, documentation, and reporting infrastructure.
  • Prepare board and leadership materials, including impact reports, financial summaries, and strategic updates, ensuring clarity and data-driven insights for decision-making.
Requirements:

This role requires a seasoned program and operations professional with 5–8 years of experience in nonprofit, philanthropic, or mission-driven environments, including ownership of budgets, programs, and stakeholder relationships. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical and operational capability, with the ability to translate complex field data into structured reporting and actionable strategy.

  • 5–8 years of experience in program management, nonprofit operations, or related roles with responsibility for budgets and cross-functional execution
  • Experience managing grant cycles, program delivery, and compliance in nonprofit or philanthropic settings
  • Strong understanding of financial tracking, budgeting, and translating financial data into clear narratives for leadership
  • Proven ability to manage external partners, NGOs, and cross-regional stakeholders with accountability and clarity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for board-level and donor-facing reporting
  • Leadership experience, including mentoring or managing others with a balance of accountability and empathy
  • Familiarity with Bitcoin ecosystems, circular economies, or financial inclusion initiatives is highly valuable
  • Spanish language skills and experience working in or with Latin America are strong pluses
  • Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with high autonomy and ownership
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation aligned with experience and impact scope
  • Fully remote work environment with global collaboration opportunities
  • Meaningful equity or long-term incentive alignment (where applicable)
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Flexible paid time off and holidays
  • Monthly stipends for home office, internet, and mobile support
  • Learning and development support for continuous growth
  • Opportunity to work on high-impact global financial inclusion initiatives
  • Exposure to cutting-edge Bitcoin and blockchain-based nonprofit programs
  • Direct collaboration with leadership and board-level strategy work.
