Job Description
This will be a PART-TIME SEASONAL position for the months of July - December 2026.
SUMMARY: Responsible for ensuring all products are manufactured following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) and food safety preventive control requirements to meet regulatory standards. This position will monitor production processes, perform a variety of quality control tests/inspections, and assist in documentation to maintain compliance with customer and company food safety standards and quality specifications. This includes routine observations and monitoring of receiving, storage, processing, packaging, sanitation, and distribution activities.

- Follows department direction and adheres to all product specifications, food safety, and quality standards
- Performs routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
- Monitors and records production parameters including temperature, weight, and visual appearance
- Maintains accurate records and documentation for traceability and audit purposes
- Monitors compliance to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety standards, and company policies throughout the manufacturing facility
- Performs critical control point verification checks
- Collects routine production samples and assists in sensory evaluation and product retention activities
- Performs environmental and sanitation verification to ensure hygienic food safety conditions
- Calibrates and maintains quality assurance instrumentation and equipment
- Assists with internal audits and inspections
- Identifies and documents product and process non-conformances and deviations
- Effectively communicates quality issues to supervisors and departmental teams to support timely investigations and corrective actions
- Identifies and quarantines non-conforming products; initiates appropriate disposition procedures with proper authorization
- Assists with quality and food safety related trainings
- Completes additional duties and/or projects assigned
- Represents the company brand image and shares aloha to all customers, business partners, and coworkers at all levels throughout the company
- 1+ year of related experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Beginner level use of Microsoft programs excel, email, word
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize and attention to detail
- Strong organization skills, time management, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work any shift: nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
- Ability to work well with others and be a team member
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Able to sit or stand and walk throughout the scheduled work shift
- Able to lift and/or move up to 35 lbs.
- Works around food manufacturing equipment and supplies
- Perform duties at elevations greater than 10 ft.
- Good vision. Specific vision abilities include close vision 20 inches or less, (i.e., working with small objects or reading small print), including use of computers. Distance vision 20 feet or more, not just the ability to see a person or object, but the ability to recognize features as well, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Peripheral vision observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point
- Good hearing. Specific hearing abilities include the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., forklifts, packaging, machinery alarms), medical codes or alarms and communication purposes
Inside of a typical industrial facility, which includes working with and around large machinery, variations in temperature, sound (decibels), odors, humidity, and elevations
