Automation Tester - Contract - Hybrid - Raleigh, NC in Raleigh, North Carolina at INFO ORIGIN INC

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Tester / Automation Test Developer to support the testing and quality assurance of enterprise Java-based applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with TOSCA automation testing, manual testing, regression testing, and Agile development environments. This role involves developing and executing automated test scripts, creating test cases, validating application releases, and collaborating with developers and business stakeholders to ensure software quality and stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using TOSCA.
• Create manual test cases and test scenarios based on business requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, GUI, and database testing.
• Execute automated and manual test cycles for application releases.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project teams in an Agile environment.
• Participate in requirements reviews, test planning, and test execution activities.
• Perform SQL queries and database validations as needed.
• Support continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA and Automation Testing experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing and executing TOSCA automated test scripts.
• Experience with HP ALM/Quality Center (QC) or Test Director.
• Experience with automated testing tools and test case development.
• Experience testing web, GUI, client/server, and database applications.
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with IBM Curam applications.
• Experience using NeoLoad and qTest.
• Experience with Selenium automation testing.
• Knowledge of Java/J2EE development.
• Experience with JUnit and JMockit.
• Experience performing SQL-based testing and validation.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience supporting Health & Human Services, SNAP, FNS, or government programs.
