Dietary Aide in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina at Conway Medical Center

Position Summary: The Dietary Aide (DA) assists with the set-up prepared food for the patients. The DA is responsible for stocking shelves, preparing snacks, and special orders. The DA-CP will perform general cleaning duties to maintain area in a sanitary condition. Moves all portable equipment to ensure proper cleaning. Sweeps and mops specified areas of kitchen. Additionally, the DA will be responsible for the transporting of prepared food, from the food prep kitchen, which is located off-site.

Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

• 1-year previous experience in food preparation preferred.
• Previous experience in food preparing in a Hospital setting preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Valid Driver’s License in good standing required.

Special Skills:

• Exemplary core customer service skills strongly required.
• Strong organizational skills required.
