Silicon Valley Medical Development is currently seeking a talented Process Improvement Advisor to join our growing team!
Pay: $52.34/ hr-$65.38/hr
Location: Los Gatos, CA
Shift: Days, M-F

The Process Improvement Advisor proactively serves as a project manager, educator, and advisor to the Quality Department and to the field. This position supports cross-functional teams dedicated to planning, developing, coordinating, and implementing initiatives aimed at performance improvement and enhancing the patient experience. Provide coaching and advisory services to bolster efficiency, quality, and patient satisfaction.Essential Functions:
- Support cross-functional teams in their efforts to enhance processes, ensuring that implementations are effective, with sustained gains that are validated through continuous data analysis and performance metrics.
- Evaluate and map current processes to identify gaps, analyze root causes, and pinpoint improvement opportunities.
- Develop leadership and team members to enhance the organization's continuous improvement capabilities.
- Create metrics for process measurement, identify indicators for future improvements, and conduct cost-benefit analyses.
- Research and integrate best practices for process and technique enhancements.
- Design and conduct training sessions and presentations on measurement, analysis, improvement, and control.
- Offer consultancy on re-engineering techniques to elevate process performance and product quality.
- Ability to effectively resolve issues and seek appropriate resolutions
- Adheres to HR, safety, HIPAA and compliance policies, and attendance requirements
- Performs work in accordance with established schedules, policies, and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of college or equivalent work experience in a healthcare setting
- At least three years of experience in leading quality and process improvement initiatives, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of clinical operations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office product suite (including Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Ability to work within established guidelines and protocols
- Ability to work in collaboration with all departments
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects as well as perform other duties as assigned for the department
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with a knack for data analysis, report writing, and updating or developing project and strategic plans
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to accurately type a minimum of 40 WPM
- Strong verbal and written communications, and active listening skills
- Solid patient/guest relations skills with the ability to communicate in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize task to complete assignments within the time allotted to maintain standard workflow
- Ability to work effectively as a team member who is flexible, cooperative, and willing to assist others
