Join Our Team: School-Based Behavior Technician

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? Look no further! We are a dedicated team providing effective, empirically validated educational and behavioral services to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. We offer 1:1 support in both school and home settings. We're expanding in the Los Angeles area and need you to help us grow our team!

What You’ll Do- not limited to the following:

  • Provide 1:1 support to a student throughout the school day to help them participate in classroom and school activities.
  • Build positive rapport with the student and collaborate with teachers, school staff, and supervisors.
  • Assist with academic tasks and data collection as directed.
  • Implement behavior intervention strategies and calmly redirect challenging behaviors using training provided (e.g., Safety Care/ supervisor guidance).
  • Maintain professionalism, punctuality, reliability, and confidentiality at all times

Requirements:

Qualifications We're Looking For:

  • Associate’s degree / 2 years of college (required) Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field (preferred)
  • Valid driver's license with insurance (required)
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude with a strong desire to make a difference(required)
  • Ability to work with diverse ages and behaviors, including aggressive and self-injurious tendencies(required)
  • Previous experience using ABA methodologies in a school setting (preferred)
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in applied behavior analysis (preferred)
  • License/Certification: RBT (preferred)
