Patient Care Assistant / PCA Responsibilities: Personal Care: Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Meal Support: Assist residents with eating and drinking, including feeding if necessary. Help with meal planning and preparation, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met. Emotional Support: Provide companionship and emotional support to residents. Engage in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Housekeeping Tasks: Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up resident rooms, changing bed linens, and ensuring a clean and safe living environment. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Capability to assist with physical tasks, including bending, standing, and walking for extended periods. .
