CENTRAL STERILE SUPPLY TECHNICIAN II
HOURS:
POSITION SUMMARY:
The CS Technician II is responsible for the decontamination, preparation, packaging, sterilization, and storage of all surgical instrumentation. Works collaboratively and maintains positive relationships with OR staff, Nursing Units, and co-workers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High school graduate or equivalent required.
One year experience in a Central Supply department with expertise in OR instrument set processing and surgical case carts required.
Required licensure, certification, or registry:
Central Supply Technician certification required.
