About This Position
Rockland Custom Products is currently seeking an experienced Cabinet Builder. The ideal candidate will have carpentry experience and a strong attention to detail. This role will require the ability to assemble and build both standard cabinets and custom cabinets
At Rockland we design, engineer, and produce custom vehicle storage solutions, consoles, and a long list of other accessories for First-Responder and Fleet vehicles, as well as Off-Road and Recreational vehicles. Made with the highest quality and the most durable of materials, we are always coming up with new cutting-edge products for the industries we serve.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Duties:
• Build wooden cabinets to design
• Application of carpet or bedliner finish to cabinets
• Use and maintenance of spray gun equipment
• Install cabinet accessories as required
• Pick inventory components for builds
• Package cabinets for shipping
• Proper paperwork and reporting of completed jobs
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Pay meticulous attention to detail to identify any repair or replacement needs, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) like gloves, goggles, and respirators.
Skills:
• Carpentry and hand tool skills
• Minimum of 2 years of previous on the job experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Assembly experience
• Manufacturing experience
• Proficient time management skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to lift 50Lbs
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be reliable and self-motivated

Schedule:
• Full time
• 8-hour Day shift
• Monday through Friday

This is an active, hands-on role that requires:
Standing, walking, and handling tools for the length of an 8-hour shift. Lifting and moving up to 50 pounds as needed.
Good vision (close, distance, and color) and manual dexterity for precise tasks.
The willingness to roll up your sleeves, get dirty, apply yourself and take pride in the work we are doing and the products we are building.
