Licensed Practical Nurse (LN II) at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

Willis Knighton Health System is seeking an LPN to work in a fast-paced urology clinic. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a strong work ethic, critical thinking and organizational skills, attention to detail, flexibility, dependability, process excellent communication skills, have a solid knowledge of computers, and have the initiative to work. We have an atmosphere of teamwork that we expect to continue with all new hires as you will work closely with physicians and managers independently. The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, giving excellent customer service, filing , data entries , the ability to take vitals, answering /returning phone calls, refills and scheduling of tests and procedures as ordered. She will work with insurance companies, on pre-authorizations/referrals and scheduling surgeries. Hospital and department orientation will be provided upon completion of the hiring process as well as training on our enterprise management system. You will be required to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 5:00pm.
