Job Description

THE ROLE
As a B2C Sales Team Lead, you’ll continue to own your individual quota while managing a team of 2-4 Account Executives in hitting their goals, partnering closely with the rest of Sales Leadership to coach AEs, support performance improvement, and drive team-wide success. This role is ideal for a highly motivated, collaborative sales professional with strong coaching instincts and a passion for developing others while leading by example.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Rep Responsibilities:
  • Achieve individual sales and performance goals (reduced quota v ramped AE) while managing and meeting other assigned responsibilities

Team Lead Responsibilities:
Team Development & Performance Management
  • Provide coaching and development to Account Executives through call coaching, weekly one-on-one sessions, real-time coaching, call reviews, and documented feedback
  • Support Account Executives in achieving monthly sales objectives through KPI management, including talk time, outbound conversations, opportunity creation/conversion, call reviews, sales process adherence, and overall activity performance
  • Identify areas for improvement, suggest coaching interventions, and guide agents through Performance Improvement Plans as necessary
  • Collaborate with senior management to enhance the hiring, training, and motivation processes for Account Executives

Training & Onboarding
  • Train new sales staff and monitor their sales performance post-onboarding and training

Sales Support & Motivation
  • Assist in the sale of products and services to maximize sales results
  • Furnish sales staff with constructive feedback and aid in resolving customer issues
  • Motivate the sales staff and foster an environment of healthy competition


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets
  • Strong coaching instincts and interest in developing peers
  • Effective communicator, comfortable giving feedback and supporting AE performance
  • Organized and detail-oriented, especially with forecasting and sales admin tasks
  • Collaborative team player who can partner with Sales Managers and cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable leading by example and driving accountability across the team
  • Willingness to participate in manager meetings and contribute to team strategy

COMPENSATION
$75K / year + bonus

FLSA Status: Exempt – This position is not eligible for overtime pay and is expected to fulfill the responsibilities of the role regardless of hours worked.
