About the Role

ADU is seeking a full-time, skilled, and detail-oriented Appliance Installer with 1-2 years of experience, preferably with high-end or luxury appliances to support our Baltimore/VA/DC region reporting to our corporate office in Halethorpe. This role involves delivering and installing various appliances, such as refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, washing machines, dryers, and more. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship and pays close attention to detail, ensuring that every customer interaction reflects our high standards of quality and professionalism.

Job Requirements:

• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) check, consistent with applicable laws
• Ability to safely perform and install high-end appliances in residential and commercial settings
• From time to time, handle and transport large appliances safely and securely
• Ability to lift and move heavy appliances up to 100 lbs independently
• Push, pull, lift, and move loads up to 1000 pounds with assistance (using straps, dollies, and team support
• Load/unload appliances from trucks
• Maintain a professional and clean work environment
• Interact professionally with customers and team members

Physical Demands:

• Frequent standing, walking, stooping, climbing, and crouching
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in variable weather conditions
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and maneuver large appliances safely

Work Schedule:

• Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Overtime may be required based on the project demands and business needs

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of appliance installation or related experience preferred
• Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with hand/power tools
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay: $21.63-$28.00 per hour
