Painting Technology Supervisor at Kansas City Art Institute – Kansas City, Missouri

Job Description:

This position is for an upper-division Painting major who is organized, independent, has a flexible schedule, and who works consistently in the studio. The hours will range from 5-10 hours per week. It is an asset if this person is available the week before each semester begins. This student will assist the Painting department in coordinating technology and equipment checkout and returns. This student will also schedule the Department Technology Assistant and train them on how to assist students in checking out and returning equipment. This student will create and keep current a database of all equipment, as well as post how-to videos for every piece of equipment.

Qualifications/Skills Needed:

Organized, independent, reliable, and responsible.

Comfortable with training others as needed.

Knowledgeable regarding all of the Painting technology and equipment as well as the making and posting of how-to videos.

Must be available Sunday evenings and Saturday afternoons.
