At Shoppers World, we are looking for an enthusiastic and dependable retail porter to join our team. As a Retail Porter, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean and organized store environment, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities

Keep the store clean and presentable at all times by sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
Empty trash cans and ensure waste is disposed of properly.
Maintain an organized and clutter-free stockroom.
Assist customers with carrying their purchases to their vehicles.
Retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot and return them to the designated area.
Keep shelves and displays well-stocked and neatly arranged.
Perform regular inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels.

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to assist shoppers in a friendly and professional manner.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness standards.
Ability to work independently and efficiently, taking initiative to complete tasks.
Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
