EDC Area Maintenance Janitor (La Marqueta) at Klen Space Inc. – Brooklyn, New York

Hours: Part-time (24 hours per week)

Work days: Friday - Sunday

Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour
Day-time Shifts: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Job Site Locations: Brooklyn

Duties and Responsibilities

• Janitorial duties (sweep, mop, remove trash, replace can liners, restock consumables, etc.)
• Litter pickup in outdoor common areas and sidewalks
• Sweeping sidewalks
• Remove and replace trash bags in trash can
• Sweep and mop interior floors
• Clean and maintenance of the interior and exterior of city-owned properties
• Dusting and vacuuming
• Power washing
• Light bulb change
• Responsible for watering plants
• Light touch up paintings
• Mandatory Snow Removal and possible overtime

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have 1 year of recent janitorial experience
• Must have a working phone that is able to download three mobile apps used to complete the job
• Must be in good physical condition and health, without mental or physical disabilities or impairments which would reasonably be expected to interfere with the performance of the services or prevent you from being able to walk your assigned route
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions (rain, snow, sleet, heat, cold)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be age 18 or over
• Must have good attendance and punctuality
