Ultrasound Student at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center – Anniston, Alabama

The Ultrasound Student works with registered ultrasound technologist to complete ultrasound exams. The student prepares patients for exams, screens patients for procedures, transports patients, completes exam worksheets, stocks and prepares exam rooms; assist in the performance of ultrasound exams.

Assist registered ultrasound technologist in the completion of exams and procedures and works under the supervision of registered ultrasound techs to complete quality and professional ultrasound exams.

Must currently be enrolled in an accredited Ultrasound Program.

Knowledge of Ultrasound Physics and Instrumentation, General Ultrasound Anatomy and Physiology.

Must have BLS/CPR by the American Heart Association.
