Warehouse Associate in La Porte, Texas at Packwell Inc

Hours: Day / Night Shift

Summary of Role: responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including lifting and moving heavy materials (up to 55 lbs), maintaining a clean and organized work environment, monitoring the packaging line, and always prioritizing safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Safety:
  Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and report any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.
• Material Handling:
  Lift, move, and stack materials weighing up to 55 lbs safely and efficiently.
• Packaging Line Monitoring:
  Oversee the operation of the packaging line, ensuring products are packed correctly and efficiently.
• Housekeeping:
  Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse, including sweeping, trash removal, and cleaning work areas.
• Teamwork:
  Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
• Other Duties:
  Perform other warehouse tasks as assigned.

Candidates are required to have access to a phone and/or computer with internet capabilities in order to complete their online Onboarding process through Paylocity Corp.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 55 lbs repeatedly.
