Job Title: Medical Assistant - Pain Management

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Pain Management team. The ideal candidate will support healthcare professionals in providing high-quality care to patients experiencing pain-related conditions. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures

- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper equipment availability

- Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately

- Schedule patient appointments and manage follow-up care

- Educate patients on treatment plans and medication management

- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations

- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care

- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and insurance verification

Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant program preferred

- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) is a plus

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems

- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures

- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
