ABOUT US:

Barista Summary:

Provide timely, accurate, and friendly service while you prepare the highest quality beverages for our guests. Promote consumption by educating customers on beverage options. Must serve, brew coffee, clean & maintain brewing equipment, accessories, & supplies; prepare & serve a variety of coffee and mixed drinks.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Prepare drinks consistently according to recipes.
• Understand bar etiquette and ability to apply such as FIFO.
• Understand basic sanitization and the ability to maintain cleanliness in all working areas.
• Understand basic health codes such as food/drink temp, hand washing, and food handling.
• Full knowledge of the drink menu and ability to answer questions regarding beverages.
• Ability to operate, and maintain bar tools/equipment (glass washing machine, mixer, etc) and report to manager if there is an issue.
• Check/restock bar inventory/supply
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.
• Any additional assigned duties

Job Requirements:

• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.
• Possesses basic math skills, can handle money accurately & efficiently, and operate a cash register.
• Food Handlers card (training for food handler card available)
• Responsible Beverage Service license (if required)
• 6 months to 1 year experience in similar capacity
• Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Flexible/Adaptable schedule. Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Attention to detail and sanitation rule
