Commercial Building Engineer | $28–$32/hr | Conshohocken, PA | BPG
BPG Real Estate Services is hiring a Commercial Building Engineer to support our properties in Conshohocken. This role is ideal for someone who can troubleshoot building operating systems, handle general building maintenance, and take ownership of day-to-day operations.
What a Day in This Role Looks Like

You start your morning by reviewing work orders and prioritizing maintenance needs, then spend your day hands‑on completing repairs, troubleshooting HVAC systems, and responding to tenant requests. You’ll work closely with vendors when needed, document completed work, and flag larger repairs needs to management. From time to time, you may also support nearby properties or respond to urgent maintenance issues.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and troubleshooting HVAC systems
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance across building systems
- Supporting plumbing, minor electrical, and general repairs
- Ensuring building systems are operating safely and efficiently
- Maintaining professional interactions with tenants and vendors
Qualifications
- Experience in commercial building maintenance (strongly preferred)
- Hands-on HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostic ability
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- Ability to work independently and manage daily priorities
- Valid driver’s license Schedule
- Monday–Friday, typical 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule
- Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies (not daily/constant)
- Occasional support at nearby properties

- $28–$32/hour based on experience
