Seasonal Pool Short-Order Cook at Westwood Country Club – Rocky River, Ohio

Westwood Country Club is seeking a reliable and motivated Full-time/Part-time Seasonal Pool Short-Order Cook to join our team for the summer season. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and takes pride in preparing simple, high-quality food items for our members and their families.

Our pool kitchen focuses primarily on preparing children’s menu items and casual favorites, helping create a fun and welcoming experience for families throughout the season.

Position Responsibilities
Prepare and cook short-order menu items, primarily from the children’s pool menu
Ensure food is prepared quickly, accurately, and in accordance with Club quality standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and work area
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Assist with stocking, prep work, and maintaining inventory levels
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service
Support overall pool and food and beverage operations as needed

Qualifications
Must be at least 16 years of age
Previous food service or cooking experience preferred but not required
Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving kitchen environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Reliable and punctual
Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays during the summer season
