All internship positions are onsite.

Our student internships offer a competitive hourly rate of $17.00, requiring a minimum commitment of 21 hours weekly. Our summer internship program runs from: May through August.

Eligibility Requirements:

Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution throughout the internship.

Current class standing of rising junior or above.

Applicants should demonstrate relevant competencies and capabilities aligned with the role.

Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by SNY.

Interns in the department will assist the SNY Digital Media Staff in various production-related initiatives including editing content for SNY’s social media platforms, research, audio/video production, news gathering, analyzing social media trends, fulfilling marketing and sales inquiries, and developing a deeper understanding of SNY’s digital content. Interns will be assigned on-going, daily responsibilities as well as stand-alone projects.

Requirements:

Strong interest in social media content, sports, and television production

Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and creative skills

Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; meet deadlines and work as part of a team while also being able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Possess great organizational skills and has excellent track record for following through on projects

Experience in graphic design and video editing

Desired Competencies:

• Familiarity with Social Media Platforms: Proficient in using platforms such as Instagram, X, Facebook, and TikTok.
• Adobe Suite Experience: Proficient in using Adobe Photoshop and Premiere.
