About the Role:

The Lab Technician professional uses various hand-held tools and specialized computer software to assemble IEMs and meet production goals. They read detailed instructions to ensure products are created efficiently and correctly. In addition, they provide the maintenance of assembled IEMs by analyzing it, and ensuring any issues are dealt with accordingly before sending them to shipping. This position requires approximately 40 hours per week, with working hours between 8am - 5pm.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Assemble all module types (M20, M15, MX)
  • Apply UV curable ink into engraved serials. Visually inspect inside of shells for contamination
  • Print Case Labels using the UV Printer and Laser Engraver
  • Apply tubes and filters to all current models
  • Solder Crossover components for all current models and solder lower end drive sets (A2e-A6t)
  • Run the 3D Printers and mix colors
  • Complete all Graphic functions (Logos, Speciality faceplates) except for Mirror Faceplates and Custom Art
  • Manufacture standard faceplates
  • Prep shells and earplugs using a micromoter for the lacquer step
  • Polish and sandblast Aluminum Universal Shells and Faceplates using a combination of a micromoter, buffing lathe, and sandblasting units

Job Type: Full-time

64 Audio utilizes E-Verify for all new hires in the onboarding process. All new employees must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check, along with the E-Verify screening.

Requirements:

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • MUST BE LOCATED WITHIN DRIVING DISTANCE OF VANCOUVER, WA.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in electronic assembly (preferred).
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong dexterity skills.
  • Experience using small hand tools i.e. buffing lathes, soldering irons and small blades is highly preferred.

TRAINING NOTE: 64 Audio is a highly specialized production company, and we recognize that not many candidates may have had exposure to this type of manufacturing process. As a result, 64 Audio is committed to providing interactive training to all new hires to ensure the success of each new hire in their role.
