You will serve as a pivotal leader within our project management team, overseeing the daily production of custom plate metal fabrication and corrosion-resistant lining services. This role empowers you to shape a high-performance culture while managing complex workflows that ensure our industrial clients receive world-class craftsmanship. You will have the autonomy to drive process improvements and the direct support of senior leadership to grow your career into advanced scheduling and operations.

• Develop daily fabrication plans and sequences to assign tasks that ensure all client deadlines are met with precision.

• Monitor employee production levels and complete detailed task sheets to maintain a transparent and high-output work environment.

• Collaborate with senior leadership to implement process improvements that increase shop reliability and overall performance.

• Audit the fabrication bay workflow regularly to eliminate bottlenecks and maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.

• Mentor team members in technical skills including welding, cutting, grinding, and blueprint reading to elevate the shops craftsmanship.

• Record accurate daily process hours in labor breakdown sheets to ensure project budgets and production schedules remain on track.

• Represent the companys commitment to quality by following strict inspection procedures and leading by example in safety and attitude.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in custom plate metal fabrication or a similar industrial leadership role.

• Proven expertise in welding, cutting, grinding, and interpreting complex technical blueprints.

• Demonstrated ability to lead a crew, manage team dynamics, and enforce safety protocols.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage daily documentation and production schedules.

• Advanced technical training in specialized custom steel fabrication or corrosion-resistant lining.

• Experience in developing formal process improvements or lean manufacturing workflows.

• Previous experience in a "Leadman" capacity within a high-volume industrial manufacturing environment.
