Contracts Administrator 1 at Sterling Construction Company, Inc. – Draper, Utah

What You’ll Be Doing

• • Support the setup and administration of contracts, subcontracts, and change orders
  • Act as a key point of coordination between project teams, subcontractors, and leadership
  • Review contracts to ensure compliance with terms, policies, and regulations
  • Help manage project startup documentation (insurance, bonds, compliance documents, etc.)
  • Track and maintain contract records and documentation in Viewpoint
  • Assist with subcontract issuance, exhibits, and compliance tracking
  • Support lien filings, notices, and project close-out documentation
  • Work closely with Accounting and AP on compliance and payment-related items

This is a high-visibility, detail-heavy role that touches every phase of the project lifecycle

What You Bring

• • High School Diploma required (degree or coursework in business, finance, or construction is a plus)
  • Exposure to contracts, purchasing, accounting, or construction processes preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized across multiple projects
  • Comfortable working in systems and spreadsheets (Viewpoint is a plus)
  • Clear communicator who can coordinate across teams
  • Someone who is proactive, dependable, and eager to learn
