AV Project Manager at Conti Electric Inc – Orlando, Florida

Conti LLC. (Conti) is looking for a Low Voltage Project Manager. Individuals must be focused, self-reliant and able to provide technical support, installations and carry out general service/maintenance orders concerning any low voltage situation (devices, systems and components).

Physical Security Project Manager duties will include the following:

• Defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Estimating/Procurement costs, managing budgets, and tracking expenditures to avoid overruns.
• Developing schedules, setting milestones, and ensuring on-time delivery.
• Identifying potential roadblocks and implementing corrective actions.
• Facilitating meetings and reporting on progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Managing resources, promoting collaboration, and fostering a productive environment.
• Completing final Project closeout documentation (Test and Acceptance).
• Communicates effectively in both oral and written communications. Communicate with people outside the Company, representing the Company to customers, the public, government and other external sources. Communicate with supervisors, peers, subordinates and other Company staff, working as part of a team contributing to Company goals.
• Perform skilled repair and maintenance operations using tools of the trade.
• Implement solutions for system installations, upgrades, repairs and customer change orders.
• Ability to define problems, Data collection, establish facts, and draw conclusions drawing upon experience, research, and input from peers. This position performs multiple job tasks daily. Directs unusual or complex problems encountered to the Project Superintendent for input and/or direction.
• Travel is required for this position.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of field experience within the industry. of physical/electronic security world.
• BS degree (or Military Equivalent) in Electronic, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of Networking (IP schemes and programming).
• OSHA Certification10/30-hour certified.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft office.
• Ability to travel 20% of the time.
• Ability to stand long hours, lift 40 pounds and work at times in an industrial environment.
• A valid driver’s license, Background Check, and ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
