LPN, Resident Care Supervisor - Second Shift

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Residential Care Supervisor to join our welcoming residential care facility located in Port Charlotte, FL. This full-time position offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team in providing exceptional care to our residents while fostering a positive and inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily operations of the residential care facility, ensuring high standards of resident care and safety

- Supervise, train, and support care staff to deliver compassionate and effective services

- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures

- Collaborate with team members, residents, and families to promote a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative environment

- Monitor resident well-being, address concerns promptly, and implement care plans as needed

- Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, staff schedules, and regulatory requirements

- Assist in staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and ongoing training initiatives

Skills and Qualifications:

- A current LPN/Nurse license is required

- Minimum of one year of supervisory and/or training experience in a community or long-term healthcare setting

- Previous supervisory experience in geriatric care is highly preferred

- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to providing quality care

- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations and compliance standards
