Medical Imaging Technologist Orthopedic SCMS - BONUS ELIGIBLE #8441 at St. Clair Hospital – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Summary

Performs radiographic examinations of various anatomical parts and systems of the body in order to assist physicians in diagnosis and/or treatment. Position is responsible for clinical and administrative support to physicians and physician assistants/certified registered nurse practitioners, including, but not limited to, removing stitches/stables and performing imaging exams.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Registration or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required within one year of hire date.
2. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

1. One year of previous experience preferably in a surgical office environment.
2. Knowledge orthopedic terminology and procedures.
3. Fundamental understanding of personal computers and familiarity with the Windows operating system.
