Maintenance, Facilities at VERUS AEROSPACE – Wichita, Kansas

Position Summary

Performs work in more than one of the maintenance trades: Plumbing, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, welding, facility repair, painting, and carpentry. Will be responsible for Facility up keep, general maintenance, and routine repairs as well as Periodic Maintenance on facility equipment. Facility technicians may also be called upon to assist various other trades if requested Maintenance Management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Know and follow general company and corporate policies and procedures.
• Know, understand, and follow department policies and procedures.
• Must have a demonstrated understanding of High Voltage applications (480/277v).
• Must be willing to perform multiple skilled trade assignments
• Other various duties as needed or as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Language Skills

• Ability to read and write the English language.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
