Position Title: Industrial Electrical Maintenance

Industrial Maintenance Electrician
Hendersonville, NC
1st Shift - 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Pay: $23/hour - DOE

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Electrician to support maintenance operations in a high-performance metals manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operations. The ideal candidate has strong experience with industrial electrical systems, automation, and preventative maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical issues on production equipment and facility systems
Maintain and repair PLC-controlled systems, motor controls, drives, and industrial automation equipment
Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, panels, sensors, and control systems
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
Support equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement initiatives
Conduct routine inspections and ensure compliance with safety and electrical codes (NFPA, OSHA, etc.)
Work closely with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to resolve issues quickly
Document maintenance activities, repairs, and work orders accurately
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications
Previous experience as an industrial electrician or maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of PLC systems, motor controls, VFDs, sensors, and automation systems
Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and read schematics independently
Experience with preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability
Familiarity with high-voltage systems and industrial safety standards
Strong mechanical aptitude is a plus
Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime
High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or apprenticeship preferred

Work Environment
Industrial metals manufacturing facility
Exposure to heat, noise, and heavy machinery
Physically active role (standing, climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs)
