Building Service Worker at Mount Calvary Baptist Church – Rockville, Maryland

Reports To: Church Administrator
PRINCIPLE FUNCTIONS: Under general supervision, performs building cleaning and facilities maintenance work throughout the Church. Employees will receive on the job training. Employees are considered emergency personnel and are required to report to the building during inclement weather, assist with security protocols, and address safety concerns.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Some knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and practices of building maintenance. Must be willing to learn basic knowledge of emergency facility response procedures. Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Sufficient physical strength to lift heavy objects and to perform manual labor with frequent climbing.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:(Overtime is permitted.) Employees are considered emergency personnel and are required to report to the building during inclement weather.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE: High School or GED diploma preferred.
