Accounts Receivable Specialist at New Cibo Vita LLC – Totowa, New Jersey

Responsibilities
• Review of Shipping logs, confirming all invoices are received and all products delivered as indicated.
• Discuss missing invoices with Shipping Dept to determine what the issues are.
• Application of all wires/ACHs
• All credits per remittances to be entered to CTBA (credits to be allocated) and research if needed to be disputed
• Research short shipments and enter DSD and take appropriate actions, i.e., credit the customer or rebill
• Once BOLs are received from sales team attach to the invoice and the Proof of Delivery. Next, submit to SPS Commerce for billing.
• Run the following report and confirm all invoices have been submitted to SPS Commerce (EDI system) for customers (Costco, Sam’s, BJ, Walmart etc.) for billing
• Communicate to sales team and managers when there are discrepancies or rejected orders.
• Assist in the year end audit
• Complete month-end reconciliation of all A/R related G/L accounts and A/R reserve roll-forwards and analyses and ad hoc reporting
• Create and drive SOP development
Qualifications:
• BS in accounting ideal, but not required
Requirements
• 2+ years in AR
• Experience in manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of commercial credit and collection laws
• Experience in establishing a credit and collection policy that is integrated in the sales process
• Experience using QuickBooks
• Experience in meeting short deadlines and driving projects to completion with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
• Strong collection and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel a plus
• Strong account reconciliation skills given accounts receivable and collections data that will require quantitative evaluation
• Experience maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive financial information
