Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday

Work Location Status: Fully on-site for the first 90 days at the Edwardsville, IL Headquarters. After successful completion of probationary period, position may be eligible for hybrid work.

*Employees in hybrid or remote roles may be required to return on-site periodically for meetings, events, or other work-related needs as determined by their manager.

About the Role

Performs administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s Human Resources department, including support of the Total Rewards program. Assists with the administration of compensation, benefits, and related programs to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely delivery. Prepares and maintains personnel records, reports, correspondence, manuals, spreadsheets, and other HR communications utilizing a broad range of computer applications in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations under the direction of HR leadership and established procedures.

What You’ll Do
  • Assists with bi-weekly payroll processing by reviewing payroll data for accuracy and completeness, verifying benefit deductions and employee changes, and supporting resolution of discrepancies prior to payroll submission.
  • Coordinates and processes paperwork related to benefits, retirement plans, COBRA continuation, workers’ compensation, unemployment, and other Total Rewards components.
  • Assists the Payroll & Benefits Specialist and HR Business Partner II with Total Rewards – related projects, audits, and process improvements as needed.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding organizational processes, policies, procedures, and Total Rewards programs, ensuring consistent and accurate information.
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as open enrollment, health fairs, organization-wide meetings, and employee communications.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality of all employee records, compensation data, and Total Rewards information.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent and one year of human resources experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and experience with HRIS system.
