Manager - Recreation in Palm Beach, Florida at The Breakers Palm Beach

We are seeking an experienced Manager of Recreation to lead a large team in a fast-paced outdoor pool and beach operation. The Manager will oversee all aspects of daily operations and team duties for the Pool, Beach, and Bungalow areas. This role involves coordinating daily routines and activities, communicating effectively with the team regarding needs and expectations, training and coaching team members, as well as developing subordinate managers and supervisors. The Manager will ensure guest satisfaction and maintain a safe and secure environment, while also observing budgetary goals and resolving guest and team issues. Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, as well as all outdoor weather conditions.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Recreation Management, or related field preferred
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or recreation industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, as well as outside working conditions.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred

- Execute duties and delegations assigned by the Director of Recreation
