Lead Veterinary Technician at AHP - IDAHO LLC – Twin Falls, Idaho

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Veterinary Technician with proven leadership experience to join our team at Sawtooth Veterinary Services. This role is ideal for a technician who is passionate about patient care while also supporting team development, workflow efficiency, and day-to-day operations within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients, including anesthesia monitoring, surgical assistance, and treatment administration
• Support daily workflow by assisting with task delegation and ensuring efficient patient flow
• Train and mentor veterinary assistants/technicians and new team members
• Assist in onboarding and skill development of medical staff
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols
• Communicate effectively with veterinarians, team members, and clients
• Help foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team environment

• Active Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) Preferred
• Minimum of 2 year of leadership experience in a veterinary setting (including training, task assignment, or shift leadership)
• Strong technical skills in anesthesia, dentistry, and patient care
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to lead by example and support a team-oriented culture
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment and leading and directing daily flow.
