This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape how conversational channels—IVR, IVA, and chat—are analyzed and optimized for maximum member engagement. The Senior BI Engineer will design and maintain scalable, cloud-based reporting solutions that deliver actionable insights across digital and voice channels. You will partner with stakeholders and engineering teams to integrate complex datasets, identify trends, and develop dashboards that drive strategic decisions. This position emphasizes technical expertise, data-driven storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration, providing visibility into operational performance and member interactions. Your work will directly impact operational efficiency, self-service adoption, and digital engagement strategies, all in a flexible, remote-friendly environment.
- Design, develop, and maintain complex IVR, IVA, and chat channel reports and dashboards using Power BI and cloud analytics tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate conversational channel data with other organizational data sources
- Optimize report performance and ensure dashboards are actionable, accurate, and scalable
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data collection, reporting, or visualization
- Provide insights into trends surrounding self-service, digital deflection, and contact center interactions
- Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders, enabling data-driven decisions across teams
- Support continuous improvement by proposing enhancements to data pipelines, visualization approaches, and reporting processes
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of technical experience in data analysis, or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience
- Strong expertise in SQL, PySpark, or similar data systems for analyzing complex datasets
- Experience building dashboards and reports using Power BI or comparable visualization tools
- Familiarity with cloud analytics platforms such as Azure Databricks (with Unity Catalog) or Google Cloud Platform
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to senior leadership
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
- Preferred: Advanced degree in a quantitative field, experience with healthcare data, Google CX Insights, Genesys, or related conversational/routing systems, and expertise in predictive modeling, data mining, or forecasting
- Fully remote work with occasional travel as needed
- Competitive base salary ($89,000–$121,400 per year) plus eligibility for bonus incentive plans
