The Instructor will teach off campus in Federal Correctional Institutions (FCI) in Illinois in support of the Partners for Reentry Opportunities in Workforce Development (PROWD) initiative. The Instructor will provide instructional services to PROWD participants by delivering the PROWD Employment Skills Training. This 15-week training provided to ongoing cohorts of incarcerated individuals in FCIs includes adult basic education, employability and personal development skills, and digital literacy. The Instructor will also coordinate with prison staff on scheduling and delivering the training, recruiting cohort participants, collecting enrollment and release of information forms from participants, and providing the PROWD Leadership Team with weekly updates on program progress, barriers, and promising practices. This position will require up to 50% travel for teaching at FCIs in Greenville, Peoria, Marion, and Thomson.

- Bachelor's degree is required with relevant adult learning experience.
- Master's degree preferred but not required.
- Experience working with reentry populations or other populations facing barriers to employment.
- 2+ years of classroom teaching experience.
- Excellent written and verbal skills are required for this position.
- Basic knowledge of the Microsoft suite of programs (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
