Job Description
Business Analyst
Our Mission
At Sohar Health, we are a mission-driven team using data to make healthcare more accessible and equitable. Backed by investors such as Y Combinator, Kindred Capital, and Rebel Fund, we are building the infrastructure layer for frontend Revenue Cycle Management.
Our API-based platform helps healthcare providers and technology platforms improve patient access, increase conversion, and streamline insurance workflows through accurate, real-time eligibility and benefits data.
We have spent the last three years building a strong product and landing meaningful enterprise customers. We are now focused on improving the quality, reliability, and scalability of our core systems as we grow.
Role Summary
We are hiring a Business Analyst to work closely with the Product Manager responsible for our Verification product.
This role sits at the intersection of data, product, and engineering. You will be responsible for analysing payer responses, identifying issues in our system, and translating complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive product and engineering improvements.
You will work directly with raw payer data (e.g. 270/271 responses), remittance data (835), internal policy logic, and our data warehouse to understand how our system behaves in the real world.
This is a highly analytical, hands-on role. You will spend most of your time investigating issues, validating system behaviour, and helping the team improve the accuracy and reliability of our product.
