About the Family & Position:
A private Dallas family is seeking a highly professional, trauma-informed nanny to support a structured and sensitive custody reunification process. This role requires a calm, steady presence with strong emotional awareness, discretion, and the ability to operate within a clearly defined, documentation-focused environment.
The ideal candidate will bring maturity, sound judgment, and experience working in complex family dynamics while maintaining neutrality and consistency for the children. The role also requires comfort entering into a comprehensive Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to any interview process or family introduction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of professional nanny or childcare experience
- Experience in high-conflict custody or transitional family situations strongly preferred
- Background in psychology, social work, child development, or a related field is a plus
- Trauma-informed training or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong emotional regulation and ability to remain neutral in sensitive situations
- Comfortable maintaining structured written logs and documentation
- Comfortable entering into a comprehensive Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to proceeding with the interview process or any family introductio
Key Responsibilities:
- Support a structured daily routine for both children
- Serve as a consistent, neutral third-party presence during custodial transitions
- Maintain clear, objective documentation of daily care and observations
- Collaborate with professionals involved in the reunification process as needed
- Provide stability, routine, and emotional support for the children
- Potential for long-term placement depending on case progression
