Home Service Technician - Part Time
TruBlue of Frisco, Prosper, & Celina is hiring for a part-time Home Service Technician (Handyman/Handywoman/Contractor) to serve the areas of Frisco, Prosper, and Celina.

Role Overview
The Home Service Technician is responsible for performing a variety of home repair, home upgrades and maintenance services with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for a skilled tradesperson who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and providing excellent service to homeowners and businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general home repairs, home upgrades, installation, and maintenance tasks with care and professionalism including:
  • Carpentry (doors, trim, framing)
  • Drywall repair and Painting
  • Basic plumbing (toilet installs, faucet replacement, leak fixes)
  • Basic electrical (switch/outlet replacement, light fixture installs)
  • Tile, flooring, other general repairs
  • Fence and gate repair
• Perform home upgrades and modifications
• Support home safety and accessibility for seniors aging in place
• Communicate professionally with customers before, during, and after jobs
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times
• Maintain tools and company vehicle (if provided)
• Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and time spent on jobs

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Passionate about delivering great customer experiences
• 5+ years of paid hands-on home repair, maintenance, or construction experience
• Proficient in multiple trades (e.g., carpentry, general maintenance, light plumbing, light electrical, painting, drywall, tiling)
• Good communication, reliable and respectful in every interaction
• Comfortable working independently and within a team
• Committed to quality, safety, and doing the job right
• Experience in project estimating or quoting jobs preferred
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and standard tools of the trade
• Fluent in English and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
