Energy Alloys Global Solutions, LLC., a BioUrja Group company, is a global distributor of corrosion resistant steel and chromium alloy metals to the oil and gas industry. JOB SUMMARY
This entry-level Operations Coordinator role supports daily warehouse and supply chain activities to ensure accurate order fulfillment, on time shipments, and smooth internal workflows. The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, and proactive, comfortable working with inventory systems, coordinating with cross functional teams, and communicating with vendors and logistics partners in a fast paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support daily order processing: verify pick tickets, coordinate staging, and confirm shipment readiness.
- Maintain accurate inventory transactions in the ERP (receipts, transfers, adjustments) and reconcile discrepancies.
- Coordinate outbound shipments: obtain freight quotes, schedule carriers, prepare shipping documentation (BOLs, packing lists, labels), and track delivery status.
- Assist with inbound logistics: confirm receiving appointments, inspect paperwork, and ensure timely system receipts.
- Prepare and maintain job folders, heat/traceability documents, MTRs, and customer-specific compliance paperwork.
- Collaborate with warehouse leads to prioritize work orders and expedite urgent requests.
- Monitor open orders, backorders, and holds; communicate updates to Sales, Purchasing, and Customer Service.
- Partner with Quality to support nonconformance reports (NCRs), returns, and corrective actions.
- Help maintain cycle counts and support periodic physical inventories.
- Contribute to safety and 5S initiatives; identify and escalate process issues or bottlenecks.
- Participate in team huddles, operational reviews, and continuous improvement efforts.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience in operations, logistics, warehouse coordination, or order management (metals/OCTG or industrial distribution a plus).
- Basic understanding of inventory control and shipping/receiving workflows.
- Comfort working in an ERP environment (experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar is a plus).
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word; able to learn new systems quickly.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow through; able to manage multiple priorities.
- Clear, professional communication skills with internal teams, carriers, and vendors.
- Ability to work on-site in a warehouse/office environment and, as needed, lift/move materials with appropriate Equipment and PPE.
