This role offers the chance to be a key player in a fast-growing, mission-driven organization, supporting employees and managers across multiple functions. You will provide coaching on employee relations, compensation, performance management, and HR policies, while also contributing to broader People Operations initiatives and process improvements. Your work will directly influence employee engagement, operational efficiency, and organizational growth. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will partner with HR Business Partners and leadership to drive HR programs that enhance the employee experience and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Ideal candidates thrive in dynamic environments, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Accountabilities- Provide employee relations and HR guidance, coaching first-time and experienced managers on compensation, performance management, HR policies, and related topics.
- Partner with HR Business Partners on organizational changes, strategic projects, and process improvements to drive efficiency and a positive employee experience.
- Manage HR operations, including onboarding logistics, offboarding, and administration of employee benefits, systems, and compliance matters.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal and state HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Recommend and implement continuous improvements to HR programs and workflows to optimize impact across the organization.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding HR questions, benefits, systems, and policies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of HR experience in fast-growing, dynamic organizations.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state HR laws and regulations, including payroll, benefits, compliance, terminations, and leaves of absence.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in rapidly changing environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience influencing managers and employees cross-functionally.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
