About the Role

Join our Fixed Operations team as a GM-Certified Technician. You’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain General Motors vehicles using GM-approved tools and procedures. This position requires advanced electrical and mechanical expertise, strong diagnostic skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

What You’ll Do

• Perform accurate diagnostics and repairs using GDS2, Tech line Connect, and MDI/MDI2 tools.
• Interpret GM Service Information (SI) and follow GM repair standards.
• Handle programming and updates for GM-specific control modules and CAN networks.
• Collaborate with service advisors and team members to ensure efficiency and quality.

What We’re Looking For

• Proficiency with GM diagnostic tools and software.
• Strong understanding of GM electrical systems and drivability concerns.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills.

Required Certifications & Licenses

• GM ASEP Certification
• ASE A1–A8 (Master Technician)
• ASE L1 (Advanced Engine Performance)
• EPA 609 A/C Certification
• EV/Hybrid Safety Training (GM STG courses)

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma (Preferred: Automotive Technology focus)
• Previous experience in an automotive dealership environment.
