EKG Tech in Osage Beach, Missouri at Lake Regional Health System

Lake Regional Health System is looking for a dedicated, professional EKG Tech to join our team. With our state-of-the-art hospital and network of clinics, therapy sites, and pharmacies, Lake Regional offers a wide range of employment opportunities in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilizes various pieces of equipment to obtain accurate test results, enabling physicians to diagnose abnormalities of electrical activity in the heart.
• Performs electrocardiograms, stress testing, and Holter monitor scanning.
• Ensures optimum quality of testing through proficient pre-test preparation, machine calibration, and detailed patient instructions.
• Possesses knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, normal and abnormal cardiac electrical activity.
• Possesses current CPR certification.
• Utilizes hospital information system to obtain patient and hospital information.
• Performs general duties of the department to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Performs all clerical duties, including bookkeeping, filing, routing, charting, phones, and scheduling.
• Processes changes, orders, and stocks supplies.
• Performs daily maintenance of machines, and reports to work punctually and as scheduled.
• Attends all meetings and in-services as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Previously EKG experience required.
• Annual influenza vaccine and COVID vaccines are required.
