This is a unique executive leadership opportunity to lead a profitable and well-established vertical SaaS business serving a highly specialized healthcare-related market. In this role, you will have full ownership of business strategy, operational execution, and financial performance within a decentralized and high-autonomy environment. You will work closely with leadership teams across product, engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success to drive sustainable growth, product modernization, and AI adoption initiatives. The position offers the chance to shape the future of a mission-driven software platform while maintaining close connections to customers, products, and team culture. You will lead strategic transformation efforts focused on scaling go-to-market operations, enhancing operational excellence, and modernizing technology foundations. This role is ideal for hands-on leaders who combine business acumen, technical fluency, and a people-first leadership approach.

Accountabilities:
  • Define and execute the long-term strategic vision to drive growth, operational excellence, and competitive differentiation.
  • Own the full P&L, including revenue growth, retention, margins, budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation decisions.
  • Lead and develop cross-functional leadership teams across Engineering, Sales & Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations.
  • Partner with product and engineering leaders to modernize the platform, reduce technical debt, and build AI-enabled product capabilities.
  • Strengthen and scale the go-to-market engine by improving lead generation, pipeline management, customer acquisition, and retention processes.
  • Drive AI adoption across business functions, including product development, operations, customer experience, and internal workflows.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance leadership culture with clear KPIs and operational cadence.
  • Maintain close relationships with customers and stakeholders to ensure product-market alignment and service excellence.
  • Provide transparent communication and strategic reporting to executive stakeholders and portfolio leadership.
  • Support long-term scalability through process optimization, operational improvements, and organizational alignment.
Requirements:
  • Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams in SaaS, software, or technology-driven organizations.
  • Strong people leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to build trust, develop talent, and foster healthy team culture.
  • Technical fluency with the ability to engage in discussions around software architecture, modernization strategies, AI technologies, and engineering priorities.
  • Strong understanding of business operations, financial performance, retention strategies, and capital-efficient growth models.
  • Experience leading organizational transformation, process improvements, or modernization initiatives.
  • Hands-on and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in lean, high-autonomy environments.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven workflows and the impact of AI on SaaS products, operations, and customer experience.
  • Experience in vertical SaaS businesses or niche software markets is highly desirable.
  • Background working within decentralized or acquisition-driven operating environments is considered a plus.
  • Strong communication, strategic thinking, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic leadership with operational execution in a fast-paced business environment.
Benefits:
  • Executive-level leadership opportunity with full business ownership and strategic autonomy.
  • Competitive compensation package with performance-based incentives.
  • Opportunity to lead a profitable and established SaaS business with strong market positioning.
  • Exposure to long-term growth and modernization initiatives involving AI and digital transformation.
  • Remote work flexibility within the United States.
  • Collaborative and entrepreneurial work environment with direct business impact.
  • Professional growth opportunities within a global software and technology ecosystem.
  • Ability to shape company culture, strategy, and long-term operational success.
