This role sits at the intersection of social media analytics, data storytelling, and regulated industry insights, transforming large-scale digital conversations into meaningful business intelligence. You will work with complex datasets from multiple social platforms to uncover trends, measure brand performance, and deliver insights that directly influence strategic decisions. The environment is fast-paced, fully remote, and highly collaborative, with global teams operating across time zones and industries. You will be expected to combine analytical rigor with strong narrative skills, turning data into clear, impactful stories for clients in sensitive and regulated sectors. Beyond reporting, you will contribute to improving workflows, enhancing data quality, and supporting continuous innovation in social analytics. This is a highly visible role where insights directly shape brand strategy and customer engagement.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will collect, analyze, and interpret large-scale social media datasets to generate actionable insights for clients operating in regulated industries such as healthcare, pharma, and banking. You will ensure data accuracy, deliver high-quality reporting, and translate complex findings into compelling narratives that support business decision-making.

  • Collect, clean, and structure large datasets from multiple social media and digital platforms while ensuring data integrity and governance standards
  • Conduct in-depth social media analysis using advanced listening and analytics tools to uncover trends, sentiment, and brand performance drivers
  • Develop insightful reports, dashboards, and presentations that clearly communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Translate complex data into clear storytelling that highlights business impact and supports strategic decision-making
  • Stay current on emerging trends in digital marketing and regulated industry communications (health, pharma, banking)
  • Support workflow optimization, data quality initiatives, and continuous improvement of analytics processes
  • Contribute to ad-hoc analytical requests that support revenue growth, client engagement, and marketing initiatives
Requirements

This role requires strong expertise in social media analytics, data interpretation, and storytelling, combined with experience working in data-driven environments and regulated industries. You should be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, remote-first setup.

  • 4+ years of experience in social media analytics, digital insights, or a related data-focused role
  • Strong experience using social listening and analytics tools such as Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Sprinklr, or Khoros
  • Solid understanding of data analysis techniques, KPI development, and performance measurement
  • Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into clear, actionable business insights
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, and presentations using Excel, PowerPoint, or similar tools
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with regulated industries such as healthcare, pharma, or banking is highly valuable
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience in workflow optimization or quality assurance is considered an asset
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary range: CAD $63,000 – $80,000 (based on experience and skills)
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and RRSP contributions
  • Paid time off and additional vacation benefits for work-life balance
  • Fully remote work environment with flexibility across Canada
  • Opportunities for continuous learning, training, and professional development
  • Access to advanced social media analytics tools and global datasets
  • Collaborative, international team environment with strong knowledge-sharing culture
  • Opportunities to contribute to high-impact client work in regulated industries
