About the Position:
We’re looking for a passionate and dynamic clinician to join our outpatient team and lead meaningful group experiences that support clients on their recovery journey. As an Outpatient Group Clinician, you’ll facilitate engaging, clinically sound group sessions that support clients in Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Outpatient (OP) levels of care. You’ll play a key role in creating a safe, supportive, and transformative space where clients can explore recovery through a whole-person approach—mind, body, and spirit.

Your Role:
- Facilitate PHP, IOP and OP groups with a focus on integrated care.
- Collaborate and consult with the outpatient interdisciplinary team members regarding group member clinical processes and needs.
- Assist with client drug and alcohol screening process as needed.
- Provide crisis management as needed.
- Complete all required and assigned trainings in a timely manner.
- Maintain clinical chart via electronic medical records in accordance with agency and accreditation standards of same day documentation.
- Participate in individual and group clinical supervision as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Graduate Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage/Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or related field, required.
- Holds and maintains independent or provisional licensure as an LCSW/LMSW, LPC/LPC-A, or LMFT/LMFT-A in the state of Connecticut, required.
- Previous experience facilitating group therapy, required.
- Previous experience working in an outpatient setting, preferred.
Compensation:
Rates vary based on the nature of the work performed (clinical vs. non-clinical responsibilities), as well as experience and credentials. Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions. This is not a fee-for-service position.
- Non-clinical hours: $35.00 – $55.00 per hour
- Clinical hours: $65.00 – $80.00 per hour
