Remote Dentist (Denti-Cal Provider – Full Time – Independent Contractor)

We are seeking a bubbly, outgoing, and motivated licensed Dentist to join our team as a full-time independent contractor.This remote position requires an active California Dental License and enrollment as a Denti-Cal provider.This is a unique opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking organization where your work directly improves access to care for patients across California. As a Remote Dentist, you will conduct virtual oral health assessments, ensure dental assistants follow proper assessment procedures, and empower patients through oral hygiene education. You’ll work closely with our team to ensure high-quality image capture and provide actionable recommendations that patients can take to their primary dentist.Please note: this is not an immediate hire — credentialing takes approximately 6–8 weeks after all required documents, including updated vaccine records, have been submitted.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct synchronous teledentistry assessments in compliance with Medi-Cal/Denti-Cal guidelinesEnsure dental assistants follow the oral health assessment process accurately and consistentlyProvide patients with oral hygiene instructions and recommendations for preventive careDocument detailed clinical notes for each patient before moving on to the nextReview and confirm that the necessary intraoral images are captured during the visitMaintain a valid Dental License, DEA license, and Liability InsuranceDeliver education and care with empathy, professionalism, and clarityRequirementsMust be an active Denti-Cal (Medi-Cal Dental) providerValid CA Dental LicenseActive DEA licenseProof of completion of 50 CE credits (required for license renewal)Active Liability InsuranceUp-to-date vaccine records (required for credentialing)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsTech-savvy and comfortable working in a fully remote environmentDemonstrated alignment with our core values and commitment to equitable careReady to help transform oral health access across California?
