SAP SD Consultant in India at Jobgether

In this role, you will play a key part in delivering and supporting SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) solutions for global clients, with a strong focus on retail industry processes. You will be responsible for analyzing complex business requirements and translating them into effective SAP system configurations. The role involves leading workshops, gathering functional requirements, and designing scalable SD solutions aligned with client objectives. You will work closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure seamless system integration and delivery. This position requires strong autonomy, as you will manage assignments independently while also mentoring junior consultants when needed. It is an opportunity to work on end-to-end implementations in a global, client-facing environment.

• Lead and support SAP SD implementation and enhancement projects, with a focus on retail industry processes where applicable.
• Conduct detailed business analysis, gather requirements, and translate them into functional SAP SD solutions.
• Facilitate client workshops to capture, document, and validate business needs and process flows.
• Design, configure, and customize SAP SD modules based on business requirements.
• Identify system gaps, propose workarounds, and recommend process improvements.
• Prepare functional specifications, test cases, and support end-to-end testing activities.
• Act as a key liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Provide user training, support, and guidance as required.
• Work independently on assigned tasks while contributing to knowledge sharing and mentoring junior team members.

• 6–8 years of hands-on experience as an SAP SD Consultant with strong functional expertise.
• Proven experience delivering at least two full-cycle SAP SD implementations.
• Strong exposure to SAP S/4HANA is highly preferred.
• Retail industry experience is a strong advantage.
• Solid understanding of SAP integration with other modules such as MM, FI, and related systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in client-facing environments.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, self-driven setup.
• Commerce or business-related educational background is preferred.
• Willingness to travel internationally based on project requirements.
