Medical Referral Specialist in Raleigh, North Carolina at JMA Pediatrics - Jeffers, Mann & Artman

JMA Pediatrics is looking for a qualified Medical Referral Specialists to join our team to impact better outcomes in a timely efficient manner for our patients.

This is an in-person position, to work Monday- Friday from 8am-5pm at our location in Raleigh, NC.

Responsibilities
*Manage and process medical referrals by verifying insurance eligibility and benefits.
*Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
*Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare providers and patients.
*Perform data entry tasks and manage office correspondence with professionalism and attention to detail.
*Responsible for process of ordered referral getting processed to appropriate specialist, appointment scheduled, obtaining consult summary of visit, document routing to care coordinators for documentation and submitting to JMA ordering physician
*Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Qualifications:
*Previous referral experience in a medical office environment preferred
*HIPAA Regulations knowledge
*Previous experience in customer service, phone etiquette and data entry.
*Self-driven and professional.
*Excellent typing, written and verbal communication skills.
*Attention to detail and accuracy while multitasking.
